Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Thomas William Vickers of Jourdanton, Texas, who passed away at the age of 78, on February 20, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh David and Olga Vickers (Brand); his grandparents, Algy (A. T.) and Myrtle Cain; and his brother Walter (Linda Vickers).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Vickers (Schorsch); his children, Curtis Vickers (Kari), Karrie Yount and Michael Vickers (Kari); his grandchildren, Alicen Tignor (David), Matthew Morris (Rachel), Caleb Vickers, Mallory Vickers, Kassidy Vickers and Tanner Vickers; his great grandchildren, Justin Tignor, Oban Tignor, Blakely Morris and Parker Morris; and also, Katherine Putnam and Melinda Carroll. He is also survived by extended family including five brothers and sisters-in-law, 16 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jourdanton Methodist Church (1004 Campbell Ave, Jourdanton, TX 78026).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations should be made to either Jourdanton Methodist Church or Jourdanton Volunteer Fire Department.
