It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Gaydos Strakos of Jourdanton, Texas, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Adolph "Sonny" Strakos, Jr.; her parents, Paul Gaydos, Sr. and Agnes Gaydos Walton; her sons, Michael Strakos and James Strakos; and her siblings, Lillie Mae Shafer, Frances Barnes, Margaret Gaines, Sylvia Fuselier and Paul Gaydos, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Strakos of Corpus Christi, Kathy Shellenbarger (Charlie) of Cuero and Ann Hein (Dale) of Bellville, Illinois; and her siblings, Angeline Smith of San Antonio and Frank Gaydos (Gloria) of Canyon Lake. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
