He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Butler, Sr. and Annie Butler (Goforth); his son Darrel Butler; and his brother W. H. Butler. He is survived by: his wife Joann Butler (Croft); his daughters, Christie Gawlik (Gerald), Debbie Riley (Jimmy) and Esther Ipsen; his grandchildren, Alexis Malone, Brooke Menchaca, Carrie Hoerig, Bryan Lenz, Michael Ipsen, Christina Ipsen, Shyann Ipsen, Elexxus Ipsen and Leyla Ipsen; and his stepgrandchildren, Aimee Farley, Amber Gawlik and John Gawlik. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
