He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sonia Taylor; his stepfather Don Taylor; his father Steve Hulsey; his stepmother Jonetta Logan Scott; his grandmother Mary Jo Hulsey; his siblings, John Hulsey, Savannah Hulsey and Emily Hulsey; his aunt Tamara Hulsey; his uncles, William Aaron Patton and Dan "Bear" Hulsey; his nieces and nephews, Rissen Baugh, River Baugh, Gracie West, Bliss Baugh, Nova Hulsey and Lexi Hulsey; his grandfather Paul Hulsey Sr.; his uncle Paul Hulsey Jr.; his grandparents, William Robert Patton and Carroll Patton; and his brother-in-law Donald Baugh.

During Covid lockdown he did youtube livestreams to make people laugh and smile, things like smearing his entire head with peanut butter.

He was a member and advocate of Foundation 45 in Deep Ellum.
