She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Earl and Anna Mae Neal (Gordon); her son Daniel Mershawn; and her sister Virginia Flanery. She is survived by: her children, Kathrine Lawhon (Kevin) of Godly, Texas and Brandon Mershawn of Cleburne, Texas; and her siblings, Walter Seamons (Gina) of Waxahachie, Texas and Anita Wilke of Quincy, Illinois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buffalo Funeral Home (249 Humphreys Rd, Buffalo, TX 75831). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brushy Cemetery (1700 E Commerce St, Buffalo, TX 75831).
