He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Edgett and Irene Edgett; his brothers, David and Larry; his wife Mary Edgett; and his daughter Mandy Edgett.
He is survived by: his sister Beverly Edgett Findley; his daughter Traci Edgett (Linda Edgett); and his stepchildren, Norma Bazhaw, Hope Aguilar, Kristen Hammer and Tony Aguilar. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and countless family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Gil to Troy Brewer Ministries at Open Door Church for their work to fight human trafficking.
