He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Franklin Stanley and Ruth Ellen Smith; his wife Linda Stanley of Burleson, Texas.; and his siblings, Rufus Carl Stanley, Jessie Lee Grant, Ora Belle Quattlebaum and Patsy Ruth Dixon.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Stanley; his brothers, Joe Don Stanley of Alvarado, Jimmy and Jan Stanley of Rio Vista; and his sister-in-law Cinda Goodwin Morton of Burleson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
