He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Odom and Opal Odom (Maness); his siblings, Coy, Wilburn, Curtis Odom, Geneva Morgan and Mary Doresy; and his son Darren Odom.

He is survived by: his wife Dee Ann Odom (Ireland); his son Derek Odom; and his siblings, Jessie Odom, Nelda Tuggle, Doris Bartosh and Carolyn Howard.
