He was predeceased by: his parents, David Duncan Jackson Kemp Sr. and Lola Bell Banks Kemp; his former wife Edna Marquita Wright Kemp; his sisters, Dorothy Jean Kemp Carey and Eva Lena Kemp Carpenter; his nephew Bret Guy Carpenter; and his grandson Harold Michael Gebhardt.
He is survived by: his wife Iva Nell Willingham Kemp of Cleburne, TX; his daughters, Harolyn Luman of Little Elm, TX, Hildred Gebhardt of Joshua, TX, Holly Talley (Donald) of Summerset, PA and Helen Geyer (Emery) of Franklin, TN; his brother Dennis Kemp (Debra) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Thomas, Jonathan, Charles, David (DJ), Jennifer, Donald, Elizabeth, Daniel, Derek and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Chance, James, William, Cora, Ayden, Travis, Reid, Westen, Isaiah, Kai, Donald, Everly and Salem; his nephews, Lance and Billy; and his niece Pamela.
