He is survived by: his wife Janice Thornton; his children, Marty Thornton of Joshua, Darren Thornton of Judsonia and Lana Norris of Cave City, Arkansas; and his brothers, Michael Thornton of Spiro and Larry Thornton (Virginia) of Fort Smith. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
