He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Swindell and Ella M. Swindell; his brother Claude Swindell; his grandson Jason W. Swindell; and his son-in-law Jerry D Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Faye Juarez Swindell; and his children, Carl R. Swindell (Becky), Paul W. Swindell, Linda M. Swindell Braune (Garland) and Debbie J. Swindell Campbell. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
