He is survived by: his wife Josephine Solis Galvan; his children, Lisa Galvan Vallejo (Ryan), Gregory Joe Galvan Sr. (Edna) and Gilbert Sassenhagen Jr.; his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jacob, Ashlie, Joe Raymond, Gregory Jr., Gracie and Anthony; his sisters, Tina Morales, Inez Hernandez, Frances Diaz and Modesta Mercado; and his pet Peanut. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and extended family, friends.
