He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Egan and Mabel Egan (Moore); and his siblings, Anne Hermann and Thomas Egan. He is survived by: his significant other Josephine; his children, Cecilia Egan (Ronnie Arnold), Daniel Egan Jr. (Cheryl) and Stephen Egan (Judy); his grandchildren, Jessica Arnold, Katherine Parr, Daniel Arnold, Richard Arnold, Douglas Egan, Stephanie Wickwire, Thomas Egan, Scott Egan and Kelly Schenck; his great grandchildren, Miranda Perhacs, Mikayla Perhacs, Matthew Wickwire, Joseph Wickwire, Tyson Weaver, Braden Weaver, Austin Egan and Taylor Schenck; and his brothers, Michael Egan and Jerome Egan. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Daniel's name to the North Texas Food Bank.
