He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bill McDonald and Dianne Hendrickson; and his grandson Hunter B. Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Josephine McDonald; his daughter Linda Roberts of Texarkana Texas; his son-in-law Billy B. Roberts of Texarkana Texas; his daughter Brenda Bryan of Texarkana Texas; his granddaughters, Chelsea Roberts of Fayetteville Arkansas and Brooke Bryan of Texarkana; and his nephews, Mike McDonald, Randy McDonald and Larry Hendrickson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Legion Post 25 or Hospice of Texarkana.
