With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Victor Schmidt of Jones Creek, Texas, born in Palestine, Texas, who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Schmidt and Anita Schmidt; his brother Fulton Schmidt; and his pets, Snoopy, Lady, Cody and Lil Bit.
He is survived by: his wife Molly Schmidt; his siblings, Bill Schmidt (Ginger) of Jones Creek, TX, Don Schmidt (Jana) of Jones Creek, TX and Sue Pennock (John); his sister-in-law Susan Barber of Sweeny, TX; and his pet Oscarina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, dear friends.
