He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Burton and Gladys Burton; his sisters, Bettie Thompson and Bobbie Bryant; his brother-in-law Rogers Nichols; and also, Herman Nelson and Annie Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Tracey Burton; his children, Julian "Buck" Lunford of Freeport, West Columbia of Freeport, Jeremy Hobbs of Freeport, Cameron Hobbs of Freeport, Aaron Hobbs (Virdianna Cardenas) of Freeport, Joshua Hobbs of Freeport, Shana Burton (Britany Bailey), Candace Linford and Ashley Hobbs (Kenneth Duby); his siblings, Wallace Burton, Richwood Burton, Robert Burton (Gloria), Shirley Amboree, Gladys Mack (Randolph), Brazoria Nichols and Gwendolyn Nichols; his friends, Joe Boozy and Roger Trevino; and also Jones Creek. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
