He is survived by: his daughter Destynie Rains; his brothers, John Fred Rains (Wanda) and Billy Franklin Rains (Connie); and his grandchildren, Levi Daniel Rains and Dallas Lynn Rains. He is also survived by 5 nieces and 8 nephews.
