With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Tonnesen of Jones Creek, Texas, born in Freeport, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband R. J. "Bob" Tonnesen; her parents, Charles Burridge and Effie Burridge; and her siblings, Charlie Burridge, Moby Burridge, Earl Burridge and Charlene Pascall.

She is survived by : her sister Hazel (Troy); her children, Randy Tonnesen (Georgeanna), Ricky Tonnesen and Tammy Weinstein (Hank); her grandchildren, Travis Tonnesen, Jon Paul Tonnesen (Erin), Alyson Kocerek (Mickey), Ashley Swansey (Michael), Alyssa Haddix, Mandi Weinstein and Kelli Weinstein; and her great grandchildren, Wesley Haddix, Josie Tonnesen, Levi Tonnesen and Scout Swansey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's the Archangel Catholic Church (100 Oak Dr S, Lake Jackson, TX 77566).
