With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Posey Jr. (Jewett, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Posey, Sr. and Imogene Posey (Cravey); his sister Nancy Kiker; his nephew Randy Thomson; and his brother-in-law Henry Alpha.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Alpha Posey of Robbins; his son Sam Posey (Crystal) of Robbins; his stepdaughters, Tammie Ginsel (Keith) of Marquez and Tara Newsom (Mark) of Hilltop Lakes; his son Michael of Georgia; his grandchildren, Karilyn Miller (David) of Bryan, Nicholas Newsom (Shelbi) of Marquez, Josie Smith (Devin) of Bryan and Clayton Posey of Robbins; his great grandchildren, Adam, Landyn and Waylon Mae; and his siblings, Brenda Beeler (Bob) of Centerville and Richard Posey (Karen) of Temple.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Redland Baptist Church (4798 TX-7, Jewett, TX 75846).
