He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dean and Ruby Pirtle (Jewell); and his daughter Cindy Dean. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Dean; his children, Doyle Dean (Mary), Ronnie Dean (Becky) and Janet Atkins (Mike); his brother BJ Dean; his grandchildren, Ryan Kauzlarich, Robert Dean, James Dean, Chere Hall, Alison Holmes, Nia Atkins and Wesley Brashear; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Brasher, Emerson Dean, Weiland Dean, Caleb Dean, Kayleigh Dean, Austin Grinnell and Tyler Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
