He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Dan Quada and Tincie Quada; his son-in-law Samuel Koontz; and his brothers, Arthur Quada, Dean Quada, Charles Quada and Maximillian Quada (Max).
He is survived by: his wife Dot; his children, Cynthia Quada Koontz (late Samuel Koontz) of Jefferson, Donald Quada of Jefferson, Cheryl Quada of Longview, Sheila Quada Bayles and William Bayles; his grandchildren, Andrew Koontz, Shearine of Houston, Ashley Koontz Cunningham, Jordan of Mansfield, Benjamin Bayles of Longview and Emily Bayles; his brother Robert Quada of Jefferson; his siblings-in-law, Dan Thomas of Atlanta, Ray Thomas of Huntsville, Neva Scott of Atlanta, Mary Key of Jefferson and Faye Campbell of Atlanta; and also, Jane of Atlanta and Tommy of Atlanta.
