Robert Sims Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 74, Robert Sims of Jefferson, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Sims and Donnie Sims (Burgess); his parents-in-law, Mervin and Imogene East; his siblings, Donnie Joe Tarrant and James "PeeWee" Sims; his brothers-in-law, Charles Tarrant, Neil Cameron, Duane Grundy and Russell East; his nephew Roy Don Burke; and his niece Karen Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sims (East); his sister Patricia Ann Cameron of Quitman, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Debby Grundy of Miami, OK, Donna Sims of Quitman, TX and Lisa Jewett of Fairland, OK.. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews (also great & great-great), cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be make to Liberty Baptist Church – Jefferson, TX, Simmons Cemetery – Jefferson, TX, or the charity of your choice.
