He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray LeRoy and Alice Olive Prettyman (Sivertson); and his former wife Mary Dianne Prettyman (Whitener). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Daisy of Richardton, ND; his children, Jed Ray Prettyman (Mary) of Corrinth, MO, Joe Phy Prettyman (Lois) of St. Peters, MO, Randy Joel Prettyman of Fargo, ND, Greg Lee Prettyman (Janice) of Elba, AL, Sheryl Ann McClellan, Sue Marie Chezem (Roger) of Linden, TX, Jean Dorene Pascual (Larry) of Jefferson, TX and Judy May Adams (Kent) of LaCrosse, WI; and his sisters, Betty Jean Gregory and Joan Delores Gale of Jefferson, TX. He is also survived by twenty six grandchildren; thirty seven great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; numerous other relatives.
He traveled to Ethiopia where he helped build schools, and to Belize over a five-year span, where he helped deliver medical supplies, vehicles, gave monetary donations, and other necessities.
