She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Jackson and Eva Lee Walker; her son Michael Evatt; her grandsons, Chris Evatt and Arsen Carter; her sister Doris Palmer; and her nephew Charles Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Christal Bowman of Jefferson, TX, Terry Evatt of Fort Payne, AL and Tim Patterson of Pisgah, AL; her close friend Earl Hughes of Jefferson, TX; her grandchildren, Jacob Lyda, Jr, Zanna Patterson, Zoy Evatt, Erica Hinchee, Kenzie Carter and Jessie Wilks; and her siblings, Phobe Epps, Donald Jackson and Ronald Jackson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
