He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Gray and Johnny Jr.; his stepchildren, Avery Rawls, Eric Rawls, Lillie Mae, Beverly Jean, Ivy Boyd and Machelle Rawls; his nieces and nephews, Dorothy Johnson, Janette Jackson, Gloria Jefferson, Brenda Jackson, Sandra Jackson, Machelle Rushing, Morris Jackson, Kenneth Jackson, Charlie Irving, Edward Irving and Joe Irving; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Fred, Cecil, Tony, Reginald, Alton, Craig, Chris, Javonte', Shemetria, Monique, Stephanie and LaDeldra; his uncle James Epperson (Linda); and his aunts, Carolyn James (Mitchell) and Sarah Williams.
