He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blanton and Vera Blanton (Love); his wife Virginia Blanton; his daughter Johnnie Renee Blanton; and his siblings, Dan Blanton, Vivian Kent, Oscar Blanton and Jackie Blanton.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Charbonneau (Brian); his grandchildren, Brittney Charbonneau (Ivan Jaimes) and Kelsey Marin (Decebal); his great grandchildren, Alyssa Jaimes and Gregory Marin; and his brother Truman Blanton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
