He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Gordon Heard and Marguerite Lydia Conner; and his sister Marguerite Millicent Martin. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Faulkner; his sons, Gene G. Heard and John A. Heard; his granddaughters, Sara Anderson and Heather Heard; and his great grandchildren, Ian, Edith and Elliot Anderson.
