He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Whatley and Ruth McAlexander Whatley; and his daughter Sheila Renee Whatley. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Tims Whatley; his children, Cristi Huntington and Scott Fyffe; his brothers, Tommy Whatley (Francis) and Gilbert Whatley (Nancy); his uncle Russell Whatley; and his grandchildren, Paige Huntington, Garrett Huntington and Erin Fyffe.
