It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Joe Nix of Jefferson, Texas, born in Hughes Springs, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Nix and Grace Evelyn Nix; and his brothers, Glenn and Guy Marlon Nix. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Nix (Amie) of Hughes Springs and Cindy Nix Middleton (Don) of Hawkins; and his siblings, Harold Wayne Nix (Carol Ann) of Daingerfield, Gary Lynn Nix (Sandi) of Gilmer and Jeannie Pollan of Pittsburg. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
