It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wallace Gilchrist of Jasper, Texas, born in Newton, Texas, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Carol of Jasper, Texas; his sons, Patrick Gilchrist (Anthony Lewis) of Plano, Michael Anthony Gilchrist and Matthew Thomas Gilchrist of Aurora, Colorado; his sisters, Eva Katherine Dillenbeck, Mary Morgan (Willie) of Lumberton and Charlene Medley (Lavon) of Newton, Texas; and his grandchildren, Journee Gilchrist, Jude Gilchrist, Juliet Gilchrist, Travis Turner and Brett Turner.
To protect each other from COVID-19 infection we ask that you comply with CDC Social Distancing Guidelines as well as Governor Greg Abbott's request that a face covering be utilized before entering this facility. Funerals are currently a public event being held during the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
