She was predeceased by: her husband Henry E. Simmons; her parents, Virgil P. Hilderbrand and Janie Kimmey; her stepmother Mollie B. Y'Barbo; and her siblings, Virgil Ellis "Jake" Hilderbrand, Janet Faye Lee and Lucien Paul Hilderbrand.
She is survived by: her son David B. Simmons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
