It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernell Ellis (Jasper, Texas), who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Harris and Melvern Harris; and her brother Roy Dale Harris. She is survived by: her husband Billy Ray Ellis of Jasper, Texas; her sons, Denny (Lana Ellis) of Jasper, TX and Wayne (Jamie Ellis) of Jasper, TX; her brother Archie Dean Harris (Rita) of San Antonio, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jenni (Jeremy Primrose), David McCollister, Justin Ellis, Cody Ellis, Jeni (T. J. Smith), Jessica (Daniel Spivey) and Kaycee (Nick Woods). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
