He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie E. Martindale and Nannie Elizabeth Martindale; his brothers, Charlie Martindale, Jr. and Austin Martindale; his son Tim Martindale; and his sister Lera Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Martindale of Jasper, Texas; his daughter Kim Moorhead (Joe) of Jasper, Texas; his sister Sybil Turpin of Cypress, Texas; his grandchildren, Amy Robertson (Will) of Simpsonville and Devin McBryde of Hudson, Texas; his great grandchildren, Beckett McBryde, Daniel Robertson and Luke Robertson; and his friend Kenzie Melton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peachtree Baptist Church, 360 FM 254 N., Jasper.
