He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Armstrong Beatty and Carl Beatty; his wife Lucille Lewis; his siblings, Ida Mae Beatty, Ella Faye Bonner, Rosa Lee Brown, Juanita Frazier and Levi Beatty; and his goddaughter JoAnn Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia E. McFarland (Michael) of Crowley, Saundra R. Hector (Rod) of Frisco, Frances L. Saunders (Gary) of Cedar Hill, Amanda D. DeHorney (Robert) of Midlothian, Texas. and Antonio L. Beatty of Jasper, Texas.; his grandchildren, Brittani Robertson (Craig), Jarrett Burley, Reginald Davis, Byron A. Nichols, Faryn Davis, Tyler Burley, Antonio Beatty II, Kharis McFarland, Ryan DeHorney, Michiah McFarland, Fallon Davis and Kennedy DeHorney; his great grandchildren, Lexi Robertson, Storm Nichols, Chloe Robertson, Rylee Robertson, William Robertson III, Loyal Davis and Byron K. Nichols; his godchildren, Dynesha Adams-Smith and Shaun Sells; his sister Kathryn B. Clabron of Houston, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Lewis, Tommy Lewis (Mary Lee) and Bobbie Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
