It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Powell of Jasper, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Powell and Loretta Powell; and his brothers, Gene Powell and Max Powell. He is survived by: his wife Laurette Powell of Jasper, Texas; his daughter Salena Young (Randall) of Jasper, Texas; his mother-in-law Loucille Martindale of Jasper; and his grandchildren, Rachel Landers (Tyler) and Matthan Young (Isabella).
