He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McBride and Mattie Bell Lowe McBride; his wife Velma Jean McBride of Brookeland Texas; his grandson Jonathan McBride; and his brother Eugene Ralph McBride.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Allen McBride (Sonjia) of Kirbyville, Gary McBride (Gail) of Los Angeles, Doug McBride (Susan) of Reeves, Louisiana and Renea Conn (Buddy) of Ragley, Louisiana; and his sister Earnestine Weenig of Conroe, Texas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home (2577 N Wheeler St, Jasper, TX 75951).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Faith Bible Church, 591 Calvert St., Jasper, Texas.
