He is survived by: his wife Joanna Jones Valdez of Jasper; his daughter Carol Ann Kovacich (Richard Kovacich) of Woodforest; his granddaughter April Christine Medina (Andy Medina); his great grandchild Jazlyn Noel Medina of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandson Austin Christopher Kovacich (Brooke Williamson Kovacich); and his great grandchildren, Kai Bronson Kovacich and Evan Hudson Kovacich of Magnolia, Texas..
