He was predeceased by: his parent Ovey Joseph; his children, Shannon Lavergne and Sharon Gay Lavergne; and his sister Rita Gene Spell. He is survived by: his mother Edith Lavergne of Jasper; his siblings, James Lavergne of Jasper, Ernest Lavergne of Jasper, Fred Lavergne of Floyd, Virginia and Wanda Brown of Spring; and his grandchildren, Shanna and Amanda. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
