We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Melva Turner of Jasper, Texas, born in Port Arthur, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelle Frederick and Charles Frederick; and her husband Gavin Turner. She is survived by: her son Steve Tanner (Rhonda Tanner); her stepchildren, Judy Fulton (Roger), Randy Turner (Gail) and Chris Turner (Jamie); her children, Jim Tanner, Rebecca Tanner and Elizabeth Amendola; her grandson William Maxey; and her sisters, June Pierce, Lorraine Lambert, Amy Dorman and Gloria Brown. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Methodist Church of Jasper, 329 S. Bowie, Jasper, Texas 75951.
