It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Young of Jasper, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Young to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Hopson and Ethel Hopson; her husband Arthur Patrick Young; her daughter Sandra Kay Watkins; and her siblings, Ellis Hopson, Ben Hopson, Jimmy Lee Hopson and Myrtle Hyden.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Young of Wiergate, Scott Young (Kelly) of Jasper, Texas and Gay Catt of Jasper, Texas; and her sisters, Lavon Teague of Splendora and Evelyn Bridgers (Lindley) of Walters, Oklahoma. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
