She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Reeves Mott; her husband Jim T. Beard; and her siblings, Marvin Mott, Bennie Paul Mott and Drunetta Sowell.

She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Beard Hensarling (Kirk) of Jasper, Texas; her brother Hollis Mott of Lufkin; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Mott of San Augustine and John Wilton Beard of Lumberton, Texas.; her grandchildren, Matthew Beard (Amber) of Jacksonville, Mary Beard Thompson (Stoney) of Rusk, Mandy Beard Brooks (Aaron) of Rusk, Mason Beard (Amanda) of Rusk, Lindsay Hensarling Woolf (Josh) of Manhattan Beach, Lydia Hensarling Kowalsky (Michael) of Burbank and Lacy Hensarling Daniel of Jasper, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Blaze, Brooklyn, Bowen, Benson Beard, Weston, Will, Witton Thompson, Garrett, Tanner Brooks, Bailey, Tilton, Graham Beard, Olive, Remington Woolf, June Kowalsky, Ava Sage and Hudson Daniel. She is also survived by three nephews; and four nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Jasper Church of Christ, Hwy 96 South, Jasper, Texas.
