With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Elaine Sheppard of Jasper, Texas, born in Glen Rose, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Jeff (A. J.) and Fairy Mae Barnes (Jackson); her former husband Victory "Allen" Tacker; and her sisters, Janice and Sandra.

She is survived by: her husband James Sheppard; and her children, Scott Tacker (Martha) of New Hampshire, Mark Tacker (Jayme) of Texas, Shirley Dunn (Douglas) of Texas, Tristan Sheppard (Jenn) of Washington and Carl Sheppard of Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one more great-granddaughter.
