He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry "Johnnie" and Ruby Lee Letney (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Jene; his son John Alford Letney of Jasper, Texas; his grandchildren, Callie Ann Wallace of Lufkin and Amanda Rita of Nacogdoches, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Ann Wallace and Madison Claire Wallace.
