James Coker Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2023, at the age of 89, James Coker Sr. of Jasper, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Coker and Fannie Coker; and his brothers, Robert and Carl Coker. He is survived by: his wife Nelda Coker of Jasper, Texas; his children, Jim Coker of Jasper, Glen Coker (Rebecca) of Jasper, Texas and Melinda Weeks of Jasper, Texas; and his siblings, Roy Coker of Lumberton, Texas, Betty Suri of Beaumont and Ima Jean McMurtry of Ardmore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, forty seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
