He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Parsons and Willie Parsons; his wife Maxine Parsons; his brothers, Percy and Rayford; and his grandson Patrick Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, David Cain of Jasper, Billy Cain (Tammy) of La Porte, Texas, Melissa Rutledge (Joe) of Bandera and Heather Carroll (Chris) of Jasper, Texas; and his sister Betty Hayes (Steve) of Jasper, GA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
