With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Horace B. Collins of Jasper, Texas, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Beatty Sr. and Mathie Lee Collins; his wife Ella Hadnot Collins; and his daughter Leslie Louise Collins Johnson. He is survived by: his stepmother Rosie Lee Beatty; his sisters, Qualanda Rasberry (Stanley) of Houston, TX and Ida Adams (Michiga) of Taylor; his aunt Marbell Collins of Detroit Michigan; his brother-in-law Ivory Hadnot Jr.; his brother Curtis Smith (Julia) of Houston, TX.; and his close friends, Leo Lewis, Billy Mahathay and Robert Beety.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westlake Missionary Baptist Church (3193 FM 3414, Jasper, Texas 75951). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Westlake Cemetery.
