It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Lathern (Jasper, Texas), born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on May 12, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Annie Lathern; and his siblings, Bill Lathern, Norman Lathern, Cecil Lathern, Bessie Smith and Laurene Greener.
He is survived by: his children, Liesa Lathern and Cory Lathern; his sisters, Edna Devorsky and Jimmie Hill; his grandchildren, Travis, Jeremy, Zaygin-Wayne and Kati; and his great grandchildren, Jayson, Braylon, Brett, Hunter, Arian, Wyatt and Haley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
