With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Frank McWhorter of Jasper, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Frank may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Laura McWhorter; and his grandson Cody McWhorter. He is survived by: his children, Charles Allen McWhorter (Jenna) of Kenefick, Texas and Wendy Pecanice Cloud (Mark) of Coushatta, LA; and his siblings, Robert McWhorter of Jasper, Texas and Harriet Horn (Larry) of Magnolia Springs, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home - Jasper (2577 N Wheeler St, Jasper, TX 75951). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
