He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil S. Davis and Eva Herrin Davis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Joyce Davis of Haynesville; his sons, Doug Davis Jr. and Dan; his daughter-in-law Sandi Davis; his son Curt; and his daughter-in-law Ginny Davis. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Life Church (2450 US Hwy 190 W, Jasper, TX 75951). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Davis Family Cemetery (298 Co Rd 475, Kirbyville, TX 75956).
