He was predeceased by: his father Louis York; his grandmothers, Mozelle Jones and Hazel Jordan; his brother Jerry Chambers; his aunt Vera Hargrove; and his son-in-law Glenn Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Giblin York of Jasper, Texas; his daughter Kelly Jones of Leander, Texas; his granddaughter Mackenzie Jones; his brother David Desormeaux (Lea) of Lumberton, Texas; his brothers-in-law, Gary Giblin (Dona) of Warren and Donald Giblin (Charlott) of Woodville, Texas; his sisters, Debbie Rowley (John) of Kirbyville and Debbie Hughes of Orange, Texas; and his sister-in-law Lurah Broussard of Bridge City, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Plaza, Memphis, TN 38105.
